Thirty-eight intrepid readers joined us for our first 24 Hour Read-a-Thon from October 24-25. They raised over $700 for Hardwick Head Start and read nearly 10,000 pages! Here are some images from this fun event:
A couple of the kids from Head Start were here for the start of the Read-a-Thon.
People quickly found their own nooks for reading.
One by one, we started to lose people to sleep.
But by morning, they were up and ready to go again. Well, some people were!
While some were just drifting off, after reading all night.
There were still many hours left to go, however.
Our thanks to everyone who supported and participated in the Read-a-Thon!
