This year's Read-a-Thon to benefit Hardwick Head Start and Early Head Start will run from 5 p.m. on Friday, November 5, and end at 8 a.m. the following morning, Saturday, November 6.
All ages are welcome to join in this fun event! Kids, adults, and entire families are encouraged to sign up to read and raise money to support our local Head Start program. Our first year, we raised over $800, and last year, we doubled that! Can we raise the bar again this year? We can with your help. Drop by the bookstore for more information and to pick up a registration packet or download the form below.
The deadline for turning in registration forms is October 29.
Also available below is a volunteer form, for anyone interested in participating as a volunteer (this could include chaperoning, organizing an activity, or clean up, among other possibilities.)
Here's an easy way to support your local library and your local bookstore! The Cabot Public Library and Greensboro Free Library have both posted wish lists of books they would like to add to their collections.
