Meet Janet Mason at The Galaxy Bookshop on Saturday, October 6th, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Mason will be signing copies of her book Tea Leaves: A Memoir of Mothers and Daughters and will be happy to answer questions and discuss her writing. In her forthright personal memoir, Tea Leaves, author and poet Janet Mason reflects on the factory-worker lives of her mother and grandmother in working class Philadelphia while she copes with her mother’s final illness. Her mother’s feminist example and unwavering support of a lesbian daughter become increasingly poignant as Janet explores the choices not open to her mother that she made for herself. Location:
