If you've been into the bookstore in the past week or so, you'll understand our excitement over our new art installation--a mural conceptualized and painted by artist Tara Goreau. Tara will come in on the afternoon of May 5th to complete the installation, doing a few touch-ups here and there. From 4:00 - 5:00, we will have a party to celebrate and enjoy her work. Don't be surprised if you spend the whole hour trying to pick out all of the whimsical details to be found in this beautiful mural.

Join us for snacks, games, lively discussions, and preview books that aren't even out yet! Recommended for ages 9-13.

Let's keep letter writing from becoming a lost art! Join us for our second Letter Writing Soirée, on Thursday, May 17th, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Pavel Cenkl will "moderate" the evening, providing stationery, pens, and even a couple of typewriters. Refreshments are by potluck--we invite you to bring a snack or beverage to share.
